St.Catharines Hydro Generation was incorporated on July 1, 2000 as a wholly owned affiliate of St.Catharines Hydro Inc. St.Catharines Hydro Generation Inc. is a company that generates power under license by the Ontario Energy Board and is a proud “Green Power Certified” producer of electricity. It currently operates the Heywood Generation Station at Port Dalhousie.
